I recently received a call from an old friend that I have not heard from in a long time. He is in his late 70′s and in excellent health. This friend routinely uses acupuncture and firmly believes in using nature to cure and prevent illness and disease.

We got on the subject of getting older and the aliments that accompany age, such as arthritis and feeling run down. Immediately, he told me that I should be drinking pine leaf tea. The tea has many benefits; cleans the veins, increases your strength and vitality and helps in reversing or slowing the aging process. It is also know to reduce or eliminate symptoms of asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory & digestive disorders. The pine leaf tea is believed to be beneficial in the majority of human diseases.

How To Prepare Pine Tea

.1) Collect fresh and green needles and wash.

.2) Cut the needles (leaves) into small pieces

.3) Place one cup of the small needles in a pan.

.4) Pour 3 quarts of water into pan.

.5) Let the tea steep for about two hours (until the water turns brownish in color).

When you make tea, you want the water “HOT” but not boiling. You need to experiment with the amount of needles required and how much water is added to obtain an acceptable taste. This tea is not the best tasting but has many health benefits.
